Macca Markosa, the DJ alias of David Roser, is a seasoned UK house DJ with deep roots in the British club scene and a career spanning decades.
David first made his mark in the 1990s, hosting and performing at his own club nights before stepping away from the spotlight. His return was sparked by the breakout success of “Josephine 2020”, the acclaimed house anthem he co-produced. With more than two million Spotify streams and continued support on dancefloors around the world, the track marked a defining moment in David’s return to music.
More recently, Macca Markosa has continued to build momentum with “Satisfied”, signed to the well-known house label Let There Be House.
Since reigniting his DJ career, Macca Markosa has established himself on the club and festival circuit with a signature sound blending funky, disco-infused house with high-energy grooves — feel-good sets designed to keep dancefloors moving from the first track to the last.
His performances have taken him to London venues and events, stages across the UK and overseas. Along the way he has shared line-ups with Todd Terry, Danny Rampling, K-Klass, Slipmatt, Fat Tony, Alex P, Brandon Block and Jason Herd, among many others.
